• All four of my grandparents came from Russia and Poland between 1900-1915, settling in New Jersey and New York. (Many relatives they left behind died in WWII, either through war or concentration camps).
  • My father Albert spent his boyhood and teen years in an orphanage. He served in the Navy in WWII and got his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia. He was Executive Director of several children’s orphanages and foster care centers until his death in 1972, due to damage to his heart from rheumatic fever he caught in the orphanage.
  • My mother Milly got her Master’s Degree in Social Work, and was a public school social worker in Sayreville New Jersey for 23 years.
  • My family lived in Illinois for the first five years of my life, then in suburban New Jersey when I was 5-18.
  • I attended Rutgers College in New Jersey for two years, then transferred to the University of Hawaii. I was a TV producer, director and writer creating TV programs and series all over the Pacific Rim and USA.
  • 1997 - recruited to Asia for successful turn around of Asian broadcaster
  • 2001 - Taiwan, China and India to start Voyage.tv
  • All over Southwest Asia as CEO of RSICA and creator of TV series and web platforms.
  • I have the greatest family in history. My brother GEORGE is an educational psychologist, author and lecturer, based in Singapore with my sister-in-law, economist and banker Dr. FONG CHENG HONG.
  • My middle brother BRUCE is an attorney in Washington D.C. specializing in communications law. He and my sister-in-law, Dr. MARY BURFISHER, an economist and author, have three wonderful children: HANK, NEVA, and BEN.
